Following the last blood drive of 2020, which was organized in Decazeville on December 29 and 30, the association of volunteer blood donors from Decazeville and its region would like to thank the two hundred and thirteen donors (including 13 new ) who moved to extend their arm. Given the current health situation, habits had to be changed by applying barrier gestures upon arrival: distancing, hydration, hand washing before touching anything; wearing the mask provided by the EFS, snack while standing 1.50 m from his neighbor. During heavy crowds, it took courage for some to wait their turn. Thank you also to the team of the French Blood Establishment who finished Wednesday evening at 7:45 p.m., tired but always with the same professionalism and good humor (she left Thursday December 31 for a new collection in Villefranche-de-Panat 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
The next collection in Decazeville is already scheduled for Tuesday March 9 and Wednesday March 10, 2021. Another big thank you to everyone.
Volunteer blood donors from Decazeville and its region wish a happy new year 2021 to the entire population but also to all blood donors and see you soon.
