Many medical insurance clients do not know that insurance companies have set limits for the insurance coverage for this activity, represented in a group of medical cases excluded from the coverage, namely:

1- Treatment or services provided in resorts, sanatoriums and long-term care institutions that are not considered a hospital according to the prevailing definition.

2- Hospitalization that is not directly related to the treatment or after the expiry of the period required for treatment and non-medical costs such as telephone, cafeteria, etc.

3- Treatment with visiting foreign experts.

4- Doing physiotherapy sessions or conducting analyzes or x-rays in hospitals unless they are necessary for the client during his stay in the hospital for the purpose of performing a surgical operation.

5- Treatment of obesity or thinness.

6- Treatment of speech defects, speech sessions and intelligence tests.

7- Routine medical examinations or general physical examinations, vaccination against diseases, checks for employment or travel, and pre-marital examinations.

8- Examinations and treatment related to infertility, sexual dysfunction, lack of fertility, impotence, contraceptives, sterilization, or cases similar to either of the spouses, as well as fertilization, artificial insemination, IVF, hormone therapy and the costs of sex change operations.

9 – Transplantation and transplantation operations and the consequent treatment for either the recipient or the donor.

10- Corrective devices, medical auxiliary tools, prosthetic devices, prosthetics, orthoses and braces.

11- Mental or psychological illness, muscle or nerve incompatibility, paralysis, or continuous stroke.

12- Diseases of aging such as Alzheimer’s, enuresis, bedwetting … etc.

13 – Participation in war, whether declared or undeclared, terrorist acts, riots, sabotage, civil unrest, or any illegal act, including the period of imprisonment for these acts, as well as any illness or injury while performing military service.

14 – Treatment outside the country of residence unless it is covered by the document.

15- Vitamins, except in cases of diabetes, anemia, and pregnancy monitoring if covered by the document.

16 – Highly concentrated vitamins, concentration drugs, stimulants, mineral preparations, treatment of hormone deficiencies, steroids and organic substances.

17- Cosmetic products such as shampoos, soaps, hair stimulants, hair removers, moisturizers, creams, or any similar products.

18- Non-medical supplies (diapers, etc.).

19 – Repair of visual defects, corneal striping operations, corneal transplantation, and the use of lasers in vision operations, vision therapy and corrective surgeries.

20- Orthodontics and polishing.

21- Hematology and immune diseases.

22- Replacement operations, prosthetic devices, external supports, and medical tools include, but are not limited to, knee anchors, neck stabilizers, back braces, foot pads, foot arch supports, hearing aids, insulin injection pens and infusions, or glucose test strips.

23 – Neck, plastic splints, flat foot shoes, shoe brushes, chairs, or elderly people.

24 – All vaccinations (vaccines and vaccines), medicines for prevention, non-approved medicines, and medicines not registered with the Ministry of Health.

25 – Alternative treatment includes herbal medicine, spiritual therapy, acupuncture, yoga, hypnosis, homeopathy, joint correction, ozone or oxygen therapy, and any similar treatment.
