Police have a man in custody, accused of stabbing a person on the Upper West Side.
The incident occurred at one in the afternoon last Friday.
According to authorities, a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen while at the 96th Street subway station.
The agents indicated that it is still unknown on which line the attack occurred, in that station lines 1, 2 and 3 converge.
The attack could have been committed on board a train on line 3, heading north, or on the platforms of the station itself. subway.
The motive of the aggressor is not known either; although the Police recovered a weapon at the scene.
Meanwhile, the victim is in the hospital and is expected to recover.
