Friendship request denied on Facebook: death threats and a front door kicked in | Abroad

Burczyk sent the request on Christmas Eve, but had little patience with his ex-boss. He soon sent him the first death threat: “Accept my friend request or I’ll kill you.” Two days later he announced that there would be “problems” if he got into his car now and paid the man a visit. He enclosed a photo of his vehicle to reinforce his words.

Burczyk and his boss worked together at a company that maintains gas and oil wells. The ex-boss went to work elsewhere, Burczyk was soon fired and is still unemployed.

According to the Williston Herald, Burczyk would also have kicked in the front door of his former boss. He is said to have posted a photo of himself on Snapchat with a message that his former boss needs a new front door. His actions were recorded by a security camera.

Burczyk must answer to court on January 27.
