Florence, January 2, 2020 – Tuscany will be in the yellow zone from 7 January, as all the indicators show and as the experts of the Rome say Ministry of Health. But what will it be possible to do from Thursday 7 January? For the Tuscans the yellow zone is an important relaxation of the stringent rules of the red and orange zones.
The Tuscany in the last two months it has had only three yellow zone days, from Sunday 20 to Wednesday 23 December. A minimal window. Then the national red zone went back to shooting. Before, on December 6, the orange zone was triggered. Even before that, on November 15, Tuscany ended up in the red zone. But here’s what it will be possible to do, in the yellow zone, from 7 January.
Curfew
Let’s start by saying that the curfew will remain. What the Tuscans have known with the red and orange areas will continue to exist. It will be forbidden to leave the house from 10pm to 5am, except for work reasons or for urgent necessity.
Lunch returns to restaurants
With due caution and distances, restaurants can remain open for lunch. They will have to close by 6pm. Same rules for bars. In all the places, both bars and restaurants, it will be possible to consume directly at the point of sale and not just buy and consume elsewhere as it happens in the orange and red area. Takeaway will be allowed from 6pm to 10pm. For home delivery there are no time restrictions.
Gyms and closed theaters
Swimming pools, gyms, theaters and cinemas remain closed. Sports centers open.
Shops
The shops will all be open. On holidays and days before holidays i shopping centers will remain closed. Inside the shopping centers on holidays and the day before holidays, food outlets and supermarkets, parapharmacies, newsagents and tobacconists will remain open.
School
The schools will reopen from 7 January. It will be a 75% return in attendance for high school. The remaining 15% will be in distance learning. A sort of rotation therefore between those who stay at home and those who are at school. From kindergarten to middle school, on the other hand, lessons and activities will all be in the presence. The universities remain closed and will continue with distance learning.
Public transport
Public transport will be 50% of the normal capacity. Different speech for school public transport. Tuscany has organized itself for a greater number of vehicles, also finding them from private bus companies, to ensure that there is less crowding.
