San Diego Padres, who signed Kim Ha-seong (26), marked second place in their first power rankings in 2021.
MLB.com, the official website of the major leagues, announced the first power rankings in 2021 on the 2nd (Korean time). San Diego was in second place overall.
San Diego recently traded top-level recruiting resources such as Blake Snell and Darvish You. In addition, Korea’s best shortstop Kim Ha-seong was also recruited and his abilities increased significantly.
