A farm, animals and a relaxing town away from the city. A plan that sounds really good, and it is that it is not uncommon to find that in our day to day the fuss of the routine can be stressful. For this reason, games like Stardew Valley have occupied a gap between the players, being able to offer a fun time without shooting, without action and watching our crops grow. But Stardew Valley was not the one that started with this, and it is that in the end Harvest Moon has been important.
Harvest Moon began as a creation of Marvelous in Japan, which Natsume was in charge of locating and marketing outside of the Japanese country. Unfortunately, both companies have had different problems that led them to separate, breaking the development of the saga by Marvelous, passing this to Natsume herself since the IP of Harvest Moon is hers.
Harvest Moon One World lands on Xbox this year
Since then we have two variants, Story of Seasons for Marvelous, with the concepts of the classic franchise, and Harvest Moon for Natsume, trying to innovate in some aspects, without breaking the formula. Still, Microsoft’s console has received the least attention, arriving for the first time in 2020.
Natsume ha announced taking advantage of the new year the release date on other consoles, but older than Harvest Moon One World llegará a Xbox One, no date at the moment. They will give more details in the coming months, so it is a matter of time, but it seems that the franchise, which came to Xbox last year, has done it to stay.
We will see when it finally arrives, and it may take a little more than March. Even so, having options of this style of games is good news, which enriches the catalog of the console. Also, One World will be the biggest game they have ever made, being able to visit various towns along the way.
