Your Sky Q-Box has just been updated with another nice update

The nationwide Sky Q boxes were updated with the introduction of the new Tastemade streaming app. If you are already familiar with the network, you can now log in with your existing account and view it on the big screen. For those who didn’t know, Tastemade is an American streaming network focused on food and travel.

Primarily aimed at Millennials born between 1981 and 1996, the streaming network promises hours of delicious and informative shows, including Raw. Vegan. Not gross, Small kitchen, in The perennial record – A documentary series on sustainable food practices that won the James Beard Award for a video webcast in the New Media category.

In addition to the programs on request, Tastemade also offers a 24/7 live channel with various recipes that you can immerse yourself in at any time. If you can’t get inspiration from revising your January meal plan, your app’s solution in your Sky Q box may be the answer.

The network has had a number of successes over the past few years and was the third most popular channel worldwide on Facebook in 2016. It has also partnered with Snapchat to produce content for Discover’s original coding efforts. And now it’s landed on Sky Q. Previously, those who wanted to set up had to use a Chromecast or Roku, or rely on the dedicated channel on the Apple TV set-top box. The arrival at Sky Q opens up a new option for those who don’t have enough content.

This follows a fresh push from Sky to add a range of providers and market them as “Apps You Like All In One Place”. Over the past few weeks, Sky has added Fiit – a home fitness channel with recorded exercise classes, a Santa Tracker to track Christmas progress on Christmas Eve, the Discovery + program for access to exclusive streaming programs from The Discovery Channel and Amazon Prime Video – the subscriber video service, included as part of the retail giant’s annual Prime membership.

To get started, find Tastemade in the Apps section of your Sky Q-Box. If it sounds like too much hard work, grab your Sky Q remote and say “Open Tastemade” to start the software right away.
