Among our neighbors across the Atlantic, the authorities are more flexible. The United States thus accepts a blood alcohol level of 0.08% per liter of blood, while the Cayman Islands have the most permissive limit in the world, details Le Figaro. The archipelago allows motorists to drive with a blood alcohol level of up to 0.1%. Conversely, many countries, such as Romania, Vietnam, Cuba or even countries in the Middle East apply zero tolerance for drinking and driving and the authorities issue a ticket to drivers from the first drink consumed.
