SAN ANTONIO. A dog of the pit bull breed bit a five-year-old girl and the owner of the animal did not even deign to visit the victim, according to the mother of the victim. The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the San Roque neighborhood of the city of San Antonio.

“My daughter wanted to return some toys that she stayed in the house and when she went to the neighboring house with her father, the dog stuck its head out of the semi-open door and bit my little girl,” said mother Estela Cardozo.
He added that they tried to talk with the owner of the dog and ask her to have more control, because the animal is very dangerous, but the owner was more obfuscated.
He added that the girl is the fourth victim of the animal in the neighborhood and has even killed another dog in a fight.
“The saddest thing is that the owner, who is a teacher, did not even deign to come to my house to see how my daughter was,” the woman complained.
He said that he made the complaint to the Police and hopes that the prosecution will act, because the girl was very scared and she does not want to go out anymore.
For her part, the owner of the dog, María Brizuela, consulted about what happened, only limited herself to saying that she was not aware of any complaint against her.
Neighbors demand that the animal be better controlled or that it be moved to another site before it causes a major tragedy.
