Millions handphone (HP) certainly can’t WhatsApp-an starting at midnight. The reason is that there is no system support on these devices.
WhatsApp basically wants to end support on devices running outdated operating systems. It aims well, providing its users with a safe communication experience.
Therefore, starting January 1, 2021, iPhones that are still using iOS 8 or earlier and cellphones running Android before version 4.0.3 can no longer use WhatsApp.
Here’s the list
– iPhone 4 or earlier
– HTC Desire
– LG Optimus Black
– Motorola Droid Razr
– Samsung Galaxy S2
If you use one of them, you are forced to change your cellphone if you want to use WhatsApp.
For the following lines of cellphones, you can still use WhatsApp as long as you update the latest operating system, namely:
- iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6S must update to iOS 9
- iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and iPhone SE must update to iOS 14.
To find out the iOS version of your iPhone
– Press Settings
– Press General
– Tekan About
