A blood drive is organized Monday January 11 in Longwy-Bas, in town hall, Legras room, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Donors, aged 18 to 70, are expected to attend. More than ever, these donations are vital and essential to treat the sick and this act of generosity is necessary so that the levels of stocks allow to meet the needs to come.
During the Covid period, all barrier gestures are scrupulously followed to guarantee the safety of both the donor and the recipient.
Small reminder: the donation presents no risk because the equipment is sterile and disposable. You must be in good health, weigh more than 50 kg, not be fasting, drink plenty of water. A donation lasts about three quarters of an hour to an hour with the necessary snack and rest. It can also be used to check for certain blood abnormalities.
