The budget for 2021 of the municipality of Dobersberg shows an increase in the debt level due to falling income shares. In 2019, 1.35 million euros in revenue were budgeted, for 2021 only just under 1.2 million euros are estimated. “There are some big projects coming up, so the debts are expected to rise from four million to 4.3 million euros by the end of 2021,” reports Mayor Martin Kößner.
New filter systems for water treatment
One of these major projects is the complete replacement of the filter systems and the control of the water treatment system in Dobersberg for 328,700 euros. The UV system for disinfection was renewed last year. The system prepares the water from an accompanying strand of the Thaya as well as a shaft and the new borehole. The local councilor Franz Eggenhofer believes that parallel operation during the renovation is a challenge. The project should be completed by the middle of the year.
Burgrechtgraben: Submission of the preliminary project in January
As already reported in the NÖN, the rehabilitation of the canal in the Burgrechtgraben is due. “The preliminary project should be submitted by mid-January, then the funding approval will be awaited. After that, work should start next year, ”hopes Martin Kößner. 305,000 euros are earmarked for this in the budget.
Money for fire brigades, building land and line cadastre
For the creation of the digital line register, 291,800 euros are estimated. 140,000 euros are available for the expansion of the settlement area in Dobersberg. At the moment they are still looking for land. The purchase of a fire engine (HLF I) for Reibers is budgeted at 118,800 euros. For further construction work on the Goschenreith and Reinolz fire stations, as well as the basic purchase for a new fire station in Dobersberg, 93,300 euros are planned. The basic purchase and planning by the Dobersberg fire department are planned for next year. Possible locations are currently being examined.
Sports club wants to build club house
USV Dobersberg is planning to build a club house. The cost estimate for this is 300,000 euros without interior fittings. The municipality will generally support the project in a similar framework of comparable projects. However, the overall financing has to be clarified. In the estimate, 25,000 euros are planned.
For the restoration of the sidewalks and outside areas of the residential construction project on the main square, 35,000 euros are earmarked for road and path construction. 35,000 euros for the maintenance of freight roads.
