Angelo Barletta is no longer the coach of the Southwest regional division Kickers Offenbach. The successor has already been determined in Sreto Ristic, and Marijan Kovacevic will take over the position of assistant coach.

Managing director Thomas Sobotzik informed Barletta on Wednesday morning that he had been released from his duties. Co-trainer Dennis Bochow also has to go with Barletta. In contrast, Ramon Berndroth remains in the coaching staff.

The former coach of Chemnitzer FC, Sreto Ristic, will take over the OFC on January 2nd. According to the club, the official presentation will follow in the next few days.

Ristic was employed as an assistant coach at Chemnitzer FC from 2017 and was promoted to the third division with the club under head coach David Bergner in 2019. He was also head coach there on an interim basis. Before that he was assistant coach at the Stuttgarter Kickers. In his active time he played for VfB Stuttgart, SSV Ulm, Union Berlin, Eintracht Braunschweig and SV Sandhausen, among others. His assistant Kovacevic was most recently head of the Stuttgart Kickers’ junior performance center.
