Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Billionaire Ron Burkle was recently reported to have bought a ranch in Los Ovilos, California. The farm is named Neverland which previously belonged to the late world pop star Michael Jackson.

Neverland, which is located in the northern city of Santa Barbara, is becoming known and has been in and out of the property market. According to last year’s most recent price tag, Neverland was selling for USD 31 million.
Neverland is inspired from a fictional island where children never grow up like the one in JM Barrie’s Peter Pan story.
Launch BBC, Wednesday (30/12/2020), the legendary Thriller singer has bought Neverland since 1987. Apart from being a farm and garden, Jackson also made it a place to live during his time of fame.
Michael Jackson has turned the ranch into something entertaining, building a zoo and a night market on the site. That way, he can entertain other children and families through the place.
Besides that, Neverland also turned out to be the place and center of various investigations due to the many allegations of sexual abuse against children. This happened in the 1990s and 2000s.
Jackson denied the allegations to the Santa Barbara prosecutor that he used Neverland as a fantasy world to care for his son. So in 2005, Jackson was finally put on trial and acquitted of abusing a 13-year-old boy on the farm.
