With the final approval of the budget law in the Senate, contributions of 3,500 euros are also triggered for petrol, diesel, full hybrid and mild hybrid with emissions between 61 and 135 g / km of CO2
With today’s final approval by the Senate, the budget law makes 370 million euros available to the world of cars, of which 250 million euros intended to support the purchase of petrol, diesel, full hybrid and mild hybrid cars with emissions between 61 and 135 g / km of CO2, in force until 30 June 2021 and only in case of scrapping. Instead, there are 120 million to be used as an extra bonus until 31 December 2021 for electric and plug-in hybrid cars, to be added to the sum of 200 million that finances the Eco-bonuses provided for by the 2019 Budget law. of the requests of the 5 Star Movement, aimed at preferentially strengthening the incentives for zero-emission and rechargeable hybrid cars, but also of the Democratic Party and a large part of the opposition forces, attentive to a measure that would speed up the renewal of the circulating fleet for the benefit of the environment and the automotive sector.

In detail, for cars with emissions in the 61-135 g / km range, calculated however according to the new Wltp regulation and no longer on the previous Nedc homologation cycle, the contribution is foreseen only in the presence of scrapping amounts to 1,500 euros paid, to which 2,000 euros are added by the concessionaire. The measure remains valid until June 30, 2021, unless funds run out. It is important to note that in the text there is no express reference to electrified engines, therefore the incentives are technically valid not only for full hybrid or mild hybrid cars, but also with traditional petrol and diesel engines, as long as they have a low environmental impact. Support for cars with emissions below 61 g / km has also been reformulated. Cars in the range between 0 and 20 g / km of CO2 enjoy an incentive of 8,000 euros, in addition to the 2,000 euros contribution from the dealership: all this in the event of scrapping a car with at least 10 years old. In the absence of scrapping, the bonus drops to 5,000 euros plus 1,000 of the concessionaire’s contribution. For cars with emissions between 21 and 60 g / km of CO2, typically plug-in hybrids, the bonus is € 4,500 plus 2,000 of the concessionaire’s contribution in case of scrapping, 2,500 plus 1,000 in case of non-scrapping.
