The Elite calendar has a new event in the South PACA region. This is the Route Azur et Or, an event organized in the Var by the VS Hyérois. It will take place on Thursday, March 18. This race replaces the cyclosportive organized by the VSH for seven years in mid-September.
“The idea was to start over with something else. The choice fell on an Elite race with a start and finish in the port of Hyères. The distance will be around 140 kilometers, in the Massif des Maures. We want to be able to retain the event’s loyalty and above all find a clientele for it ”, said DirectVelo the organizer José Bertolino.
As a reminder, the VS Hyérois will organize the Haut-Var Loops at the beginning of the year (see the program).
