Mao Yinbai, spokesperson of the Shenyang Municipal Health Commission and second-level inspector, said at a press conference on epidemic prevention and control held by the local government on the 29th that among the above-mentioned newly confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections in Shenyang, except for one Asymptomatic infections were converted to confirmed cases, and the remaining 6 cases were found during screening of close contacts and high-risk groups.
On December 23, Shenyang City discovered a case of a positive patient with a new coronavirus nucleic acid test after a returnee from South Korea was released from isolation. After consultation with experts, it was determined as a confirmed case. Shenyang City has carried out nucleic acid tests for all at-risk groups in these 5 residential communities, 5 medical institutions and 3 schools.
