76% of the inhabitants of the Grand Est indicate, in fact, having felt during this year at least a negative impact on their physical, psychological well-being or their general state of form because it was more difficult for them to practice physical activity ”.

This survey reveals that women were the first to suffer from health measures. 50% of them say they have perceived a negative impact (62% nationally) on their physical well-being. 69% believe that their psychological balance has been altered, 43% that their social relations have deteriorated and 62% that their state of form has declined. Overall, 71% of the inhabitants of the Grand Est (67% of the French) believe that the “health crisis has made it more difficult to practice physical or sporting activity” and that the situation has had an impact on their health.

The regional population does not capitulate, however, and is attached to sport. The survey shows that 73% of those questioned intend to return to sport in 2021, while 39% of them intend to practice regular physical activity (+9 points compared to 2019). In addition, 32% plan to spend more time with their friends and family and 23% to eat more balanced (23%).

The Francs-Comtois 80% weighted

Now, 80% of the inhabitants of the Grand Est region say they practice a sports activity (60% in December 2019).
