While Benson is at the park with her son, parents report their daughter, Lily, missing. The special unit takes care of it at the request of Lily’s mother, who works for the DA’s office. Fin and Dodds first think of a teenage runaway, but unfortunately they find Lily’s corpse under a bridge. The coroner takes semen and DNA from under the victim’s fingernails and conducts a subsidiary search. She realizes that a man, with DNA identical to that of the killer, has already been arrested. The team leaves to question him. He tells them he has been adopted.
