Elle Hollis in To make matters worse

Singer-songwriter Elle Hollis grew up in a small town, but she gets her musical

inspiration from all over the world. The ambitious Brunssumse has been singing and writing from an early age. She made her way through the music industry after a trip to Stockholm, a Mecca for pop music. There she learned about pop culture and worked on her writing talent. She was also Los Angeles and New York, where she developed further. The result: an unmistakable cosmopolitan sound. And it could have been so beautiful in 2020. Winning the Nu Of Nooit band competition meant a performance at Pinkpop. Unfortunately, corona also threw a spanner in the works for her. Fortunately she and her band will get a new chance at Pinkpop next year. That has already been determined.

This video comes from the project To make matters worse, a joint project of Toneelgroep Maastricht, Parkstad Limburg Theaters and regional broadcaster L1. During the corona crisis, when theaters were closed or could hardly function normally, artists from all over Limburg were given the opportunity to present themselves to the general public in a special way. In an empty room, on the roof, in the wings or in front of the mirrors in the dressing room of the theater. Hosts are Servé Hermans and Michel Sluysmans, artistic directors of Toneelgroep Maastricht.

This video by Floor Bosman can be seen in episode 8.
