Storm Bella continues its course. In eastern and central France, around 34,000 homes were without electricity Sunday, December 27 in the evening, according to Enedis. TheAuvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté are particularly affected. The manager of the electricity network says he is “mobilized to restore electricity to these homes”, without commenting on the time limit for a return to normal due to the “evolving situation”.

According to Enedis, 200 technicians were at work in the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais. Most of the cuts took place “behind the coast” and in Arrageois. In Loire-Atlantique, no cut related to the storm was reported, according to a spokesperson for Enedis, who reported a “normal Sunday”.
Météo France predicted that snow would fall heavily in the evening and become widespread over the western Massif Central above 600 to 700 meters. The snow cover could reach by Monday evening a thickness greater than 50-70 cm above 800 / 900m.
