A resident and three employees of The Emerald at Elim Village have tested positive, according to the Fraser Valley Health Authority.
A management team is on site to ensure compliance with health measures and to trace contacts of infected people.
Visits are prohibited at the center and staff and residents’ movements are restricted within the establishment.
The management ensures that there are a sufficient number of employees at the center, that more cleaning is done and that employees and residents are screened twice a day.
