According to an image posted by @momomo_us, Biostar is the first motherboard manufacturer to officially confirm support for the upcoming 11th Gen Intel Core processor family on existing 400 series motherboards. Biostar Racing Z490 motherboards now officially support the 11th Gen Core series – about this according to advertisements published on social networks.
By the way, the recent BIOS update from ASRock also confirms that 11th Gen Intel Core i processors will be supported on the high-end Z490, W480 and H470 motherboards from the manufacturer. This company already even indicates in the descriptions of some motherboards on its official website (here is an example).

The upcoming Intel processor family, codenamed Rocket Lake-S, is expected to hit the market before the end of the first quarter of next year. The processors will be designed for the same LGA1200 pad as the 10th Gen Comet Lake-S Core i. Some of the 400-series motherboards that debuted this year were advertised as having PCIe Gen4 hardware support at launch, but there are still no Intel processors that can take advantage of this interface.
The 11th Gen Intel Core i family is rumored to be unveiled at CES 2021 in January. The company is expected to announce the availability of 500 series motherboards like the Z590, H570, and B560 shortly after the announcement. However, the processors themselves will not appear until February or, rather, March. We recently posted an internal Intel slide, in which the start of mass production of Rocket Lake-S processors is indicated at the end of January.
