Darmstadt (ots) – Because of the suspicion of attempted handbag theft, a 20-year-old man who lives in Darmstadt will have to answer criminally in future.
On Thursday (December 24th) at around 1 p.m., the man tried to snatch the handbag of a 32-year-old woman in Bismarckstrasse at the “Klinikum” stop. By screaming loudly, however, the Darmstadt woman beat the handbag thief to flight and immediately alerted the police. Thanks to the detailed description of the person, the officers arrested the fugitive in the vicinity of the crime scene as part of the search that was immediately initiated. He was taken to the guard. The reporting takes place there. After completing all police measures, the 20-year-old was released home.
