NFL: Quarterback backup for the Giants?

Friday, 25 Dec 2020. 17:16

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The New York Giants could reunite with quarterback Daniel Jones for their game against the Ravens on Sunday in Baltimore.

Jones remains an uncertain case after being limited to a small role in the Giants’ practice session on Friday.

The young playmaker is recovering from hamstring and ankle injuries that kept him sidelined in two of his team’s last three games.

However, his progress is interesting enough that he can be at his post on Sunday. If Jones is unavailable, the Giants (5-9) will look to Colt McCoy.

The Giants need wins in the National Association’s Eastern section, where they are one game down on Washington. They are tied with the Dallas Cowboys.

Regardless of who will occupy the quarterback, he will not be able to count on the presence of receiver Golden Tate, who has an injured calf.
