About the authors of the book
The book The Art of Star Wars: The Art of The mandalorian is the work of Lucasfilm’s creative art director, Phil Szostak, has worked in the art departments of Star Wars since 2008. A graduate of the New York School of Visual Arts, Szostak led the Art Department at JAK Films at Skywalker Ranch for over three years before joining narrative design. team in Star Wars: 1313 de LucasArts. He is also the author of The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Abrams, 2019) and The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Abrams, 2017). AND Doug Chiang, Oscar-winning artist, author, and production designer. He currently serves as vice president and executive creative director for Lucasfilm.
