According to medical officer Torsten Bosssert, the pandemic is only managed in the district. The increase in his team from 25 to currently 70 employees will not change that. The sources of new infections themselves could no longer be traced due to the enormous burden of infection, said the head of the health department. Ramelow asked the employees to keep their nerve. According to the district office, 15 employees are on duty in Schleiz and Pößneck every day over Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the incidence value in the Saale-Orla district was at an all-time high of around 500.
