Hellín City Council expands taxi ranks in the town

The new ordinance that regulates the taxi sector in Hellín (Albacete) has come into force, adapted to current regional regulations, in order to regulate the service provided by the 13 licensed professionals in the city.

The councilor for Urbanism, Luscinda Carreres, explains that the new features include the new signaling of vehicles, which taxi drivers will have to change before February 12.

Likewise, 24-hour guards will be established that will be coordinated by the Local Police and the stops have been expanded from 10 to 13, since at 10 at the Bus Station, those of the Health Center have been added 1 , the Regional Hospital and the Railway Station.

The new ordinance, which replaces the previous one, of March 28, 2003, regulates and orders the taxi service in the town, in accordance with the provisions of national legislation, Decree 12/2018 and the regulations for taxi services. Public transportation of people in tourism vehicles March 2018.
