KSM Anime announced via Facebook that they have secured the rights to Monster Rancher. The publication should take place soon, further information is not yet known. In 2001 Universal Pictures had already released 3 DVDs of the series, but these have long been sold out.

Genki is eleven years old and a video game fan. He was particularly fond of the game “Monster Rancher”. His dream is one day to become the trainer of a real monster himself, like in the game. But his dream should become reality faster as he would like …
The latest version of the game “Monster Rancher” comes out and of course Genki buys it right away. But when he puts the CD in his game console, something strange happens. He is drawn into the game after a few turns and a few moments later he is fighting for a secret stone, which is led by the sweet Holly and her one-eyed monster friend Suezo against evil dinosaur monsters. Using Genkis to intervene, the three can put the dinosaurs to flight. After the fight, Holly and Suezo clarify things in the Monster Rancher world to Genki. The evil Moo tries to get all monsters under his control, so he sends his evil troops. But Holly and Suezo want to prevent this and awaken the mighty Phoenix bird. Genki is sure that the phoenix is in the CD he came along with. But only a cute little monster appears. That he calls Mocchi after the dinosaurs have been routed one more time. With Holly and Suezo and their newfound friend Mocchi, Genki sets out to put an end to the evil one. But they shouldn’t stay just four for long. »Tiger«, the son of the wind, Golem and Haki join the group.
