The sterilization of the house after a family member recovers from infection with Corona is a very important step to combat the virus, and to avoid transmitting the infection to others from within the family, and sterilization includes cleaning everything that can be touched by hand, especially with scientists confirming that the Corona virus lives from hours to days on surfaces, which is necessary. In conjunction with the increase in cases of corona, “Masrawy” explored the opinions of some who had been exposed to the infection in their beds about the best method they followed to sterilize the house, and then return to normal life again, and from their experiences we extracted the following methods to sterilize homes:
Contacting companies specialized in sterilization.
Close the patient’s room after recovering for a period of three to four days, with exposure to the sun.
Wash all furnishings, carpets and even walls with dilute chlorine, making sure that the percentage of chlorine is light, so a cup of chlorine can be placed with 9 cups of water.
A spray or the so-called “sterilization spray” can be used by filling it with a quantity of diluted chlorine in a ratio of 1: 9 and spraying the walls and furnishings, provided that those furnishings are then placed in the sun until they are dry.
For pillows, you can spray them with kohl and place them in the sun for several days.
– Disinfection tablets can be bought and sold in pharmacies. They are tablets that are dissolved in water, and the liquid is placed in a spray and sprayed on all furniture and furnishings.
– Concentration of spraying sterilization solution, whether alcohol or dilute chlorine, on door handles and water taps, and everything reaches the hand constantly, and in the case of electrical switches, wipe with a towel dampened with sterilization material.
– Take care to constantly renew the air in the rooms.
Oxygen water can be used by diluting it with water, and it is sold in medical supply stores.
Wash the clothes of the affected person by placing chlorine designated for colors on them, making sure that it is placed in the washing machine without mixing it with other people’s clothes.
Clean the bathroom with chlorine completely.
Pay attention to the shoes, so it is preferable to put them in a specific place after cleaning them.
– Things that are difficult to wash are sprayed with a sterilization solution, and placed in a remote place and left for a week.
– Take care to iron the clothes after washing them, as the heat of the iron helps kill any viruses that may still be present.
– If the injured person is the one who performs the sterilization process for himself after recovering, it is advised that he wear a mask and wash his hands before performing any task.
