Hong Myung-bo catches the Ulsan baton “The goal is to win the league”

Coach Myung-bo Hong, the best defender of Korean football and former national team manager, took the baton of Ulsan Hyundai, the prestigious K-League 1.
Manager Hong Myung-bo, who is making his first challenge to the K-League as a leader, answered that Ulsan’s biggest goal is to win the league.

Korean soccer legend, Myung-Bo Hong, who has been a soccer administrator since 2017, returns as a leader after three years.
The destination is Ulsan Hyundai, the prestigious K-League club.
He won the AFC Champions League, but in the league, he was pushed back to Jeonbuk for the second consecutive year, finishing second.
Coach Hong understands the desires of fans and clubs for the league championship that has not been lifted since 2005.
“It’s good to be the manager of a great team called Ulsan. Next year, winning the K League 1 is my biggest goal. I’ve been away (from the field) for about 3 years, but I’m excited.
Coach Hong Myung-bo, who was known as Korea’s best defender as a player, has a brilliant leadership career.
At the 2012 London Olympics, he led the national team under 23 years old and won the bronze medal, the first ever Korean soccer medal, and led the national team at the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
From 2015 to 2017, he held the baton of Hangzhou Lucheng of the Chinese League, and from November 2017, he was appointed executive director of the Football Association and has been active as a football administrator for three years.
Coach Hong, who has experienced national team, overseas league manager, and administration, is also taking his first steps as a K-League manager.
Coach Hong, who meets with the team next month, will make his K-League manager debut at the International Football Federation Club World Cup, which will be held in February next year.
