FGR secures three properties of Genaro García Luna

The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported this Wednesday that he assured three properties that belong to Genaro Garcia Luna, former Secretary of Public Security of the six-year term of Felipe Calderón.

This was announced, through a brief statement, the FGR and announced that two of the estate de García Luna are in Mexico City (CDMX). While another is in Morelos.

Just two weeks ago, the Government of Mexico formally requested the United States extradition by García Luna.

In that sense, let us remember that the former official of Calderon He was arrested in Dallas, Texas, a year ago: on December 9, 2019. Later, García Luna was transferred to Brooklyn, New York, where he faces the charges for which the US justice indicates him.

Likewise, this year, on November 27, the FGR obtained an arrest warrant against García Luna for the crime of illicit enrichment. In the same way, at the beginning of the month, it transcended another complaint against the former Secretary of Security. On this occasion, they accuse him of torture.
