INNA fans were happy recently, because on December 4th the singer’s brand new album entitled “Heartbreaker” was released. Among the 10 songs there are a lot of catchy tunes, all of which were released individually on the release day, including “flashbacks”. Not only we like the dance number damn well: On YouTube, the track is already approaching a million Spotify plays. We would like to introduce you to “Flashbacks” in more detail.
OTHER
We don’t have to introduce you to INNA anymore, the Romanian artist has been internationally known since the 2000s. Hits like “Cola Song”, “Sun Is Up” or “Hot” are well known to the general public and are popular in streaming even years after their release. This year we have often reported to you about the latest INNA songs. The last time we introduced you to INNA’s collab single “Pretty Thoughts” with Henri Purnell and Nobody Cares. The dance pop song has now reached more than 2 million streams on Spotify. The musician celebrated her greatest successes this year with “Not My Baby” and the Farina feature “Read My Lips”. In addition to high chart positions in the Romanian hit lists, the respective music videos on YouTube each have 19 million and 15 million clicks.
Flashbacks
The new album from INNA offers unadorned Romanian dance-pop throughout its season, fully up to date. Flashbacks are no exception. The catchy composition gives the song a melancholy touch, which is particularly evident in the vocal passages. These initially hold back with atmospheric sounds and a memorable piano loop, before after the refrain in the drop the arrangement sounds in full sound: Supported by a fat slap bass and oriental elements, INNA invites you to sing along. The course of the second run varies, before a final repetition of the refrain and the drop “Flashbacks” successfully ends on a concise C-Part.
Conclusion: With “Flashbacks” INNA presents itself musically from its best side and provides its fans with its popular style in a further developed form. The hit dance pop track is just one highlight of many first-class songs from the new long player “Heartbreaker”. We therefore recommend that you listen carefully to the album. We wish INNA every success with their current single and the new album. We keep an eye on them on their musical journey!
