Shortly after the new update to the PlayStation 5 operating system, players began to notice a new alert that would greatly enhance the gaming experience. So far, it has been very ambiguous whether you are playing a truncated version for the previous generation on the new console if you run an intergenerational title, or whether you have successfully launched the game in the highest possible quality. This is the problem that the new update prevents.
When you launch the PS4 version of the intergenerational title, a notification pops up on your PS5, directing you to switch to an enhanced version of the game.
