For the seventh consecutive year, Banco Ficensa supported the great work that FUNHOCAM is doing in creating awareness among the Honduran population about the latent risk of this disease and the need for early detection of it.
In October 2020, Ficensa dressed in pink and through an advertising campaign encouraged and invited its clients and the Honduran population to make a donation in the piggy banks available in the network of agencies nationwide or through a transfer to the checking account # 12080446 of FUNHOCAM at Banco Ficensa. In addition, Ficensa carried out a series of activities to promote prevention measures, as well as raise funds through its social networks. The most outstanding activity was a virtual concert by the Honduran artist, Vale Rosales, which was broadcast on Facebook Live and for each “like” the broadcast received, Ficensa committed to donate $ 1 to the foundation. The concert was a resounding success that surpassed the goal of 1,000 likes, achieving 2,300 likes in just one hour. In addition, it had a reach of more than 37,000 users and more than 9,800 views.
With the support of its clients and collaborators, Ficensa managed to raise an important donation of L. 191,229.80 which will come to support more than 320 low-income women who will be able to have their mammography performed for free at the foundation’s facilities.
Banco Ficensa, as a socially responsible company, over the last few years has been present to the preventive actions that this organization carries out to educate, prevent and treat breast cancer.
The Marketing Manager of Ficensa, Maureen Higgins, thanked the clients and collaborators of Ficensa for having been an essential piece in the collection of this donation and stressed the institution’s social commitment to the Honduran population.
