Donald Trump: Twitter decorates posts with a special label
In order to better protect users of the platform and readers of statements left by Donald Trump on Twitter from incorrect information about the results of the last US presidential election and to better inform them, individual tweets by the current president are provided with a special note. It says “Election officials have recognized Joe Biden as the winner of the US presidential election”.
Just recently, a message from Donald Trump was given a warning by Tiwtter. The US President had posted that in addition to a recently suspected cyber attack by Russia on the US, there could have been “a blow against our ridiculous voting machine during the election”. This would make it clear that he would have won by far, as PC Mag reported.
Donald Trump and Twitter at war
Twitter’s justification for the move is, according to a spokesman, “more context for anyone who sees the tweet”. Previously, the tweet was temporarily banned, which the social network describes as an “accidental” error. The label on Donald Trump’s Tiwtter Post has remained.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey personally confirmed weeks ago that he would deprive Donald Trump of rights. It has also already been announced that the US President’s posts on Twitter will be marked with warnings.
