An iconic place in the city is now ready to receive 2021.
Ten days before New Year’s Eve, the numbers that make up 2021 arrived in Times Square this morning.
The Times Square Alliance shared a photo of the luminous numbers on its Twitter page, which will be part of the well-known New Year’s celebration.
The numbers were transported separately, from California, through the southern states and then up the Atlantic coast to our city.
Starting today, until December 23, you can take a photo with 2021 in the background.
After that date, the sign will go up to its traditional location on the One Times Square building and then light up at midnight on the New Year.
This year, due to the pandemic, the traditional celebration that every year brings together hundreds of thousands of people, will be carried out virtually, so it will not have a large public presence.
