[국토매일 김영도 기자] Hyundai E&C set a new record in this year’s urban renovation project, achieving the highest performance since its inception with an order of KRW 4,738.3 billion.
In the urban renovation business sector, it reached KRW 4.738.3 billion this year in three years after recording the highest performance of KRW 4.66468 billion in 2017 by winning orders for the 1st, 2nd, and 4th districts of Banpo Jugong Complex. On the 19th, it won the construction right for the remodeling and maintenance project of Hyundai Seongwoo Complex 8 in Suji-gu, Yongin, and recorded the largest order ever.
It is reported that Hyundai E&C has accumulated orders of 15 trillion won for the urban renovation project alone by adding the order for the remodeling of Hyundai Seongwoo 8 complex in Yongin, and has secured an order backlog of over three years and eight months, exceeding a total of 65 trillion won at home and abroad as of the end of the third quarter.
Established in 1947 for post-war restoration projects such as road and bridge construction, Hyundai E&C provided large-scale apartments in Seoul in the 1960s and launched luxury apartment brands’Hillstate’ and’DH’ in the 2000s. It has been leading the residential culture.
In particular, starting with the completion of the Mapo Apartment, the first large-scale apartment complex in Korea in 1962, he proposed a paradigm for large-scale apartment houses by constructing Apgujeong Modern Apartment, which symbolizes the middle and large luxury houses in Gangnam in the 1970s.
