(San Francisco = Yonhap News) Correspondent Seong-ho Jeong = The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) accepted the advisory committee’s recommendation to inoculate Americans with Modena’s novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) vaccine on the 20th (local time).
CNN broadcast reported that CDC Director Robert Redfield had accepted the Recommendation from the Vaccination Advisory Committee (ACIP) to hit Modena’s Corona 19 vaccine on Americans over the age of 18.
ACIP held a meeting on the 19th, the previous day, reviewed Modena’s vaccine, and then voted for this recommendation.
The CDC’s approval process is a process that must go through in order for the Modena vaccine, which has already been approved for emergency use (EUA) from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and has been distributed and transported, to be vaccinated in real people.
This approval opens the way for Modena’s vaccine to be vaccinated against the average American, following Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine. Vaccination in the United States is expected to speed up as Modena’s vaccine is also included in the supply.
Modena’s vaccine, which has entered the delivery and transportation process on the 20th, is expected to be vaccinated for the first time on Monday, the 21st.
