The Barcelona Restoration Guild has shared on Twitter a video of a restaurateur from Girona who criticizes the “terrible management“of the government.
The 39-year-old woman addresses the Catalan government and explains that both her husband and she are autonomous and live off what they earn at the bar. “Thanks to you we only have debts, debts and more debts“. “You don’t let us work“, he continues, and explains that although the government always decides to take measures against the hotel industry, it never does anything, for example, with public transport.
“You don’t let us work, but we do have to pay for things on time. If you don’t pay freelancers when it comes time, they charge you 20% (…). But you wash your hands“.
The woman continues asking the government to lower their salary to see how they would react in such a situation, and complains that Catalans can go to second homes and even leave Catalonia for Christmas but the bars must close. “You are bastards”, sentence indignant.
