Five days before Christmas, on Sunday, the voters of the municipalities of Zufikon, Tägerig and Bünzen were asked to go to the polls again. Various municipal templates were put to the vote, including the 2019 invoice and the 2021 budget.

The Zufiker had to vote on eight proposals. The turnout was around 21.5 percent. With only a few no votes, the 2019 bill, the 2021 budget and the revised Zufikons personnel regulations passed without any problems. The remaining loan applications met with significantly more opposition.

The community share of 425,000 francs for the development of Stiegelen was rejected by 147 voters, but 491 were in favor. It looked similar with the loan approval for 187,000 francs for the development of Oberfeld. Here the ratio was 453: 178 votes in favor of the bill.

There was also clear approval of the investments made by the local community association for regional old people’s centers in the amount of 25.8 million for the Bärenmatt old people’s center in Bremgarten (520: 116).

The turnout in Tägerig was relatively high at around 33 percent, where the 2019 bill with 238: 63 and the 2021 budget with 183: 124 votes were waved through by the sovereign.

The situation was different with the commitment loan of 70,000 francs for the renewal and expansion of the IT in the school and the parish hall. The loan was rejected by a thin layer of 150: 157 votes. The daily also said no to the credit of 50,000 francs for the feasibility study for the school building renovation. 161 people voted against it, 146 voted yes to the polls.

The Bünzer only had to decide on the 2019 bill and the 2021 budget. With a turnout of around 22 percent, both were clearly accepted with 155: 11 and 148: 18 votes. This means that all 41 municipalities are starting the coming year with a valid budget.
