Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Galaxy S21 series leaks seem to reveal several specifications, one of which is the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which reportedly will offer six cameras.
Quoted from The Verge, Sunday, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will be equipped with 3x and 10x telephoto cameras, each with 72mm and 240mm equivalent focal lengths, both with optical image stabilization.

The camera configuration is in addition to the S20 Ultra’s rear sensor, while the 10x S21 lens will reportedly use a folded optical design similar to that of the S20 telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the main 108MP camera gets a 24mm equivalent lens, slightly bigger than its predecessor. The lens will also get laser-assisted autofocus – something the S20 Ultra didn’t offer, but was later introduced to the Note 20 Ultra.
Moreover, although on paper the main camera sensor bears some similarities to the last generation, it is a new sensor which should offer better image quality than before.
Samsung is increasingly using self-made sensors rather than taking from Sony, and it is becoming earlier to adopt dual and triple lens cameras in its devices.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will also reportedly offer 8K video recording.
There are some important details that are not camera related. The leaked specifications confirm that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will carry a 6.8-inch display with speed refresh rate up to 120Hz. The device also supports the S Pen, which will be sold separately.
Samsung will also follow Apple’s lead by shipping the S21 device without a charging adapter in the box.
The South Korean tech company has not announced a launch date for the Galaxy S21 series, but it is reported that the device will be introduced on January 14, 2021, earlier than its predecessor, which usually launches in February.
