[안동=에너지경제신문 정재우 기자] Andong City urged the city to be vaccinated against the flu as a necessity in order to prevent confusion that may occur if Corona 19 occurs every day in our area and it overlaps with the flu.
The flu occurs sporadically from October every year, peaks between December and January, when the number of patients increases significantly, and then gradually decreases until April.
Unlike a cold, the flu has sudden symptoms, and it is difficult to distinguish because it is similar to the symptoms of Corona 19.For fever or respiratory symptoms, when visiting a hospital, go through a screening clinic or receive treatment in an isolation room. Due to the occurrence of respiratory diseases such as flu, there may be cases where treatment is not received in time.
When vaccinating, be sure to consult with your doctor at the time of the diagnosis regarding your underlying disease, medications you are taking, and your health status on the day of vaccination.
General adverse reactions that can occur after flu vaccination include mild local pain, systemic muscle pain, fatigue, and fever. You should not exercise excessively because it may cause symptoms of cold body aches for 2 to 3 days.
Andong Mayor Kwon Young-se said, “There have been more than 1,000 daily confirmed cases of Corona 19 nationwide, and it is also occurring in our city every day, so please visit hospitals and clinics in the building to avoid getting the flu in cold weather.”
