Hana Financial to join the’Good Landlord Movement’… Owned building rent exemption/reduction

Small business owners 100% monthly rent exemption for 6 months, small business maximum 50% exemption

[서울=뉴스핌] Reporter Kim Jin-ho = Hana Financial Group announced on the 18th that it will participate in the’Good Landlord Movement’, which exempts and reduces rent for tenants of buildings owned by affiliates such as Hana Bank.

Small business owners leased in buildings owned by Hana Financial Group affiliates, such as Hana Bank, will be exempted from the monthly rent for six months starting from the following month. In addition, for small and medium-sized enterprises, monthly rental fees are reduced by up to 50% for 6 months, and different types of business are applied.

Hana Financial explained that the decision was made in consideration of the burden of monthly payments for small business owners and SMEs that have made it difficult to operate business sites due to the re-proliferation of Corona 19.

In March, Hana Financial Group provided a full lease exemption for small businesses and SMEs in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and a 30% lease exemption for other regions.

This time, as Corona 19 re-spreads in the metropolitan area, it was decided to reduce rent by 50% to 100% regardless of the region.

An official of Hana Financial Group said, “We have joined the Good Landlord Movement to ease the burden of small business owners and SMEs who are suffering from a sharp drop in sales and fixed monthly rent burden due to Corona 19.” We will seek a variety of support measures to support small businesses and SMEs who practice putting together.”
