Berlin (energate) – Deutsche Bahn is apparently planning massive cost-cutting measures at the ride pooling company Clevershuttle. Of the total of 1,100 jobs, 850 are to be eliminated. The four locations Berlin, Munich, Dresden and Kiel are threatened with closure, only the two cities Düsseldorf and Leipzig are to be served. The “Manager Magazin” reported with reference to corporate groups. Deutsche Bahn is the majority owner of the start-up. The group supports the further development of Clevershuttle, announced the railway on energate request. “For this purpose, talks are held with our partners on site, after which we will discuss further decisions with Clevershuttle,” said a spokeswoman.
