What is the situation with social justice in Germany? How should the burdens of the corona crisis be distributed between rich and poor? And what would a fair distribution of wealth in Germany actually be? Daniel Privitera discusses these and other questions in the pilot episode of the new “phoenix streitgut” conversation format with 16 women and men from all over Germany. The aim of the new format is a passionate but always respectful discussion between people with different backgrounds and opinions. The discussion lasts for an hour – with regard to Corona, all participants will be connected to a video conference in the studio. The course of the discussion is shaped by voting questions, which Daniel Privitera can vote on with a show of hands in order to create an opinion. These specific questions are then discussed.
