A few hours after the company Sony announcedto offer Cyberpunk 2077 players a refund, rival Microsoft also rushed to the official statement. Xbox gamers can also request a refund if they have purchased a digital copy of the game from the Microsoft Store. They do not have to meet any other condition, so for example, it does not matter the number of hours already played.
Unlike the PlayStation, however, it will not disappear from the Microsoft Store digital store offer. Players who are willing to overlook technical shortcomings will be able to continue to purchase the game.
Cyberpunk 2077: To ensure that every player can get the experience they expect on Xbox, we will be expanding our existing refund policy to offer full refunds to anyone who purchased Cyberpunk 2077 digitally from the Microsoft Store, until further notice. https://t.co/04TcniwVzy

Until a few hours ago, it seemed that Microsoft was not planning any changes in the complaint policy. At least not in collaboration with the CD Project Red. The head of the studio, Adam Kicinski, stated that they are not currently negotiating with Microsoft.
