Film series opens in Lurigancho prison

In the Lurigancho prison a film series was inaugurated, which has 3 dates and where 1800 inmates attend of all the pavilions, to improve their knowledge, reflection and analysis.

The INPE Treatment Director, Sonia More Mamani, and the prison director, Luis Salazar Caycho, and prison treatment professionals, who are in charge of the organization, participated in the inauguration.

The cinema is held in the prison’s auditorium, which has been conditioned with biosafety protocols, where it will be supervised that the 600 inmates who participate by date, comply with social distancing and the correct use of the mask and face shield.

The film being screened is “Hunger for power”, which deals with the origin of the McDonalds chain, where perseverance, preparation, knowledge, among others, values ​​that drive inmates to continue their resocialization process stand out.

The participating inmates were selected by the prison treatment staff for their good behavior and positive progress in their resocialization process.
