The Post of Lisieux (Calvados) and its CHSCT (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee) engage in a real arm wrestling since several weeks.
The purpose of conflict : a project of reorganization of work on the plate Lisieux, which brings together nine sites in the Pays d’Auge (Lisieux, Livarot, Orbec, Cambremer, Cabourg, Deauville, Honfleur, Dives-sur-Mer and Pont-l’Evêque).
A new episode of this judicial soap opera took place on Thursday, December 17, 2020. The Lisieux court ruled in favor of the CHSCT.
Expertise on the impact of the reorganization
As of September 28, 2020, management wanted to set up six distribution days per week for certain products and at least five days per week for others. In other words, letter carriers were required to work from Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.
The CHSCT then mandated the Axium firm to carry out an expertise on the impact of this reorganization on the agents. They filed an interim order with La Poste to obtain the necessary documents “to assess the workload induced by this reorganization”.
Nothing will be done without the advice of the CHSCT
The management did release documents, but not those requested by the judge. “Almost all of the documents presented by management were already known. The requests of the Axium firm were therefore not met ”, underlines Christophe Musslé, secretary of the CHSCT and member of the CGT FAPT.
The Lisieux court ordered the Post Office to communicate these famous documents “under penalty of € 1,000 per document from the third day following the service of this order”. The court adds that “the work reorganization project can only be done after advice from the CHSCT”.
